A lot of spring stuff. This haul has some styled pieces.

Its been snowing and today has been mostly a lazy day. I'm wearing this grey sweater I thrifted and these sweats I picked up on clearance at Target, I like the sporty simple look, but to add more character I put on my favorite cuff and watch AND these metallic shoes I DIYd. See the vid below!

Winter is drawing to an end so I should be looking for lighter smells, florals citrus and the like, but I bought this anyway. Tokyo Milk's Bittersweet. It smells like an expensive gourmet dark chocolate cake mix, the kind you would pick up as a novelty at an overpriced food shop in the city, delicious chocolate goodness without the sweetness. I think this scent would benefit with some licorice in there. So this scent is pretty linear and lasts only several hours, that sounds negative, but I do like this one. Its a very nice chocolate scent with a thrifty price tag.

Happy Friday. This thrifted look is like I'm going on a safari with some edge. Foxcroft collar shirt and cargos were thrifted. These striped d'orsay flats were tucked away in the back of my closet, almost out of sight out of mind.

Striped 70s-esque turtle neck and this reptile bag were both thrifted, but really I need to make known that I have found the perfect mid rise jeans for gals with hips. After trying on enough jeans to be almost sickened by shopping (note almost) I found these at Rugged Warehouse, they're by Celebrity Pink Jeans. They're mid rise, skinny, comfortable, but most important, flattering! Because fuh some denim makers place those back pockets too high and that just looks unflattering. They can be found at Macys also, but I like to check out those discount shops because these were only $12.
I love this bag, apparently its popular, I've been told by a few followers on YouTube that they have the same one.

Another winterized spring look. Lady like meets grunge. This faux fur collar was from Goodwill some time ago as were these Chelsea boots, the yellow Sportmax dress was from a friend.

Two new additions, this denim vest and gingham pants. I seem to often reach for black and blue. When you don't want to have to think about what will go with gingham pants, denim always works. Like everyone has that problem right?
Anyway, today its gone back to bitter cold, maybe just a few more parting bites from winter, so I threw on this warm bubble shaped sweater.

This lovely blue asian dress has been sitting unworn in my closet far too long. It was from a friend cleaning out her closet (big hug!) What better to compliment it with? Yes please leather. This jacket was from Goodwill a while back, I do remember it was a steal, like $4. And my ankle cut out thrifted boots. Put some New Order on and have a good Monday.

This thrifted dress inspires thoughts of spring. This is definitely a favorite from my closet. It was made by someone and then just donated to Goodwill, it found a loving home for sure!

Its not frigid outside and the sun is shining! I am prematurely breaking out this white light weight top. The jacket can be found here http://thriftshopgirl.storenvy.com/ This sheer striped top and indigo jeans were thrifted. Boots were from asos.

This weekend I thrifted a few things for the house. And now its Monday, are they depressing or just another day to you? Wear some sexy shoes to trick your mind into being spirited, that is if Mondays make you sick hah.

I'm perfectly happy with a handful of conversation hearts for Valentine's Day.
Chalky pastel sugary goodness makes me smile. Here are some other cute Valentine themed goodies.
If you click the image, there are details about each piece in this collage, but I made this more for inspiration. The nail polish is adorable, but this bottle is $16 I believe, and I'm sure you could swing by a craft store and get heart confetti and simply add it to a top coat for cheaper.

This green textured sweater is really warm. Olive green goes great with an orangy red lip. Available here
This wool blazer has a chic menswear fit. I have enough blazers, need to cut myself off. Available here.
And this very unique sweater can be worn true to size or as a mini dress. Available here.

Wool thrifted blazer. I embellished it with pearls (here's my post with video) White blouse and high waist jeans were also thrifted. And I think these rose gold wedges go best with these high waisters.

Its been very cold and gloomy lately, making poor lighting, sorry no thrifted looks lately. So this layout is my everyday makeup after I've cleansed and moisturized with rosehip seed oil.-Which makes a great base to begin foundation (Bourjois Healthy Mix). Next is brows with Makeup Forever's Aqua Brow. Then top lid is lined with Nars Mekong, with a damp angle brush. This shadow is not worth its money, but since I've begrudgingly spent it I had to find a way to make it work, and using a damp brush does the trick. Where is my mascara?! Forgot to add it to the picture oops! Its Makeup Forever Smokey lash. Then cheeks is the most beautiful cream blush by Sephora called Golden Spice. I can't tell you how gorgeous and possibly universally flattering this color is. Its a golden rosy color. So nice to apply and wears beautifully throughout the day. I rrrrreally hope they never discontinue this line of blush. Then a lovely coordinating lip stain by Jordana called Terra Crave, just a nice neutral color. and Fin

Some of these will be no surprise that they're part of the fav list. One, are these Chelsea boots, an amazing thrift find that have been worn in the snow sleet rain and sun (but don't be mislead, it was still freezing) Two, is my most worn lipstick by Wet n Wild called Wine Room. Such a pretty rich color. Bold without being intimidating. Three, is another loved and frequently worn thrift find, this wool red check shirt. Four, sweet orange essential oil, adding a few drops to coconut oil making it even better (yes it is possible to make it even better) Five, is this coiled bobby pin. If you haven't tried these, do! You can find them at the dollar store sometimes. They're amazing! One coil is the security of say 30 bobby pins.
I'm wearing Wet n Wild's Wine Room today. Its so lovely.

This is a thrifted grid sweater that I'm sure you've seen before many of times. Its one of the few sweaters I could live in this season. I paired it with my thrifted houndtooth skirt and my rose gold wedges. Black and white patterns I think are the easiest to mix, especially when you pair big and small.

This is even easier than the hugely popular embellish clothing DIYs out there. Those great clip on granny earrings you see at thrift shops can just clip right on blazer collar. Voilà easy!
